The weekend’s NPL Queensland Men’s Round 9 action produced a number of important results at both ends of the table.
Gold Coast United maintained their position at the top of the league table with a 1-0 win over Sunshine Coast Wanderers while Peninsula Power climbed out of the relegation zone with a 1-0 win over Eastern Suburbs.

Metrostars took a two point lead at the top of the table after Adelaide United NPL drew 2-2 with West Adelaide while Campbelltown marched into second position with a commanding 6-0 win over relegation candidates Adelaide Olympic.

NPL Capital Football Men's
A header three minutes into stoppage time from Roko Strika ensured that Monaro Panthers claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over Canberra Croatia at the Riverside Stadium in Queanbeyan, a result that pushed the 2022 Grand Final winners up into third place on the league table.
Meanwhile, Nik Popovich landed a first-half hat-trick as Canberra Olympic overturned an early deficit to defeat Tigers FC 3-1 and swap places with their opponents on the league table, Olympic moving three points clear at the summit, although the Tigers do have a game in hand.

NPL Western Australia Men's
Round 7 of the NPL Western Australia Men's competition saw Bayswater City go top on goal difference from Perth Glory while Olympic Kingsway jumped up the table with a second consecutive win.

NPL Tasmania Men's
Welcome to the Weekend-Wash Up following Round 6 of the McDonald’s NPL Tasmania. It was a weekend with few surprises as results largely played out as expected.
The Strikers continue to hum along atop the table as the chasing pack sorts itself out. Whether a side can emerge from that group to pose any threat to the defending Champions remains to be seen. With the top four all winning this week, no ground was gained by anyone in the top half of the standings.

Round 3 of the NPL Northern Territory Men's saw Casuarina FC beat Azzuri FC while four goals in the second half meant Mindil Aces bounced back from a goal down to beat Darwin Heat 4-2.
